I just love snowmen. When I was little I always made one. So of course I love this DIY decoration, from Stuff By Ash. You will need:
- Empty milk jugs
- Black and orange paper
- Hot glue gun
- Fun Foam
- Red paint
- Paint brush
- Christmas lights
First you need to collect all the milk jug for your snowmen and then clean very thoroughly. Then cut out circles from card stock for the smile and the eyes. Make sure two of them are larger than the rest. Then cut an orange triangle for the nose. Then attach all the pieces using a hot glue gun. Then make the cheeks all nice and rosy some paint. The paint might have some issues staying on the jug, so just spray with hairspray for good measure.
Then use some yarn and make some cute pom poms and then cut out ear muffs with some foam and attach everything together. When you cut out the back, the lights stay in better if you cut it out leaving the cut out as a flap.
Add the lights and you’re done!
Christmas should go farther than your tree. And “Crafting” Some Talent showed us just that. You will need two larger circles for eyes, five smaller circles for a smile, and three even smaller ones for the buttons. Then get a orange triangle for a nose, and some pretty wrapping paper cut in strips for the scarf! Then just tape it all together like the picture below shows, if you’ve never seen a snowman before! I think t his would be great for children to do.
Here comes the cutest little project you can do with your kids! Meet the Dubiens us this activity that’s perfect for kids!
You will need white paint and paints. Make sure not to get paint pens that run, the blogger had an issue with her’s running and had issues working with them. Put the white on your child’s hand have them hold the bulb at the bottom, with their fingers holding the signs. Then just let it dry and decorate each finger as a snowman with hats and scarves. Make your child’s little finger cute snowmen!
